The Colorado Water Congress serves as the leading voice of our state's water community, shaping beneficial actions and legislation that develop, manage, protect and conserve water. The nonpartisan group is rooted in decades of expertise and represents every watershed in the state. It's the sole organization in Colorado that presents a unified and fair position on water issues.
Our primary work is two-fold. The Water Congress advocates on a variety of legislative and regulatory issues at both the state and federal levels on behalf of members. In addition, we provide members vast opportunities for collaboration, networking and professional development at various events throughout the year, including the state's preeminent water industry convention.

Colorado Water Stewardship Project
The Water Congress has initiated the Colorado Water Stewardship Project to communicate to members and project participants the issues surrounding public trust doctrine and encourage individuals to carry the message to their civic leadership networks and the public at large. We are seeking financial contributions for a special project fund to support the efforts of this critical project. Learn more.
