Hut, hut…Lite! Molson Coors was in Detroit last week for pro football’s draft. Not only did Miller Lite throw a star-studded draft day party, Molson Coors was a sponsor of the  Sports, Tech, and Venture Summit, where some of Michigan's most innovative leaders convened for informative panels, a startup pitch competition and one-of-a-kind activations. And Jonah Turner, head of technology innovation, helped represent Wisconsin, sitting on a panel for "Building a Startup Ecosystem" with representatives from Summerfest, TitletownTech, Microsoft and the Green Bay Packers. You never know where a career in beer will take you. Thanks to the The Players Company and Plain Sight for having us! #CareerInBeer #WeAreMolsonCoors

  • Molson Coors reported another strong quarter, growing revenue by more than 10% and pre-tax income by 69%, while reaffirming its guidance for the rest of 2024. Its core U.S. brands of Coors Light, Miller Lite and Coors Banquet continued to grow, and while CEO Gavin Hattersley is cautious about trends in the beer industry, he said he remains confident about Molson Coors plans and ability to continue to grow. • Last year, Molson invited “everyone in.” Now it’s continuing the campaign by inviting fans to “find their backyard.” “We picked backyards because they represent a place where we gather and connect with friends, neighbors and loved ones,” says Kristin Lucente, marketing manager for the Molson family of brands. The campaign’s backyard theme highlights how much Canadians celebrate warmer weather, and follows a year when Molson brands collectively grew share and revenue for the first time in recent memory. Across the world, Molson Coors has sought to reduce its impact on the earth in ways that make business sense, from reducing its emissions to greening up its packaging and more. 👷 We’re currently modernizing our Golden, Co. brewery, the largest single-site brewing facility in North America. When completed this summer, it is expected to save millions of gallons of water per year and should substantially reduce energy usage, potentially by up to 30%. ☀️ In March, Molson Coors made an important step in our goal to source renewable solar energy electricity in Wisconsin, becoming the first company to sign up for We Energies’ Renewable Pathway program. ♻️ We’re also in the process of moving from plastic rings to sustainably sourced, recyclable fiberboard-wrapped packages for four- and six-packs. • Last week, Molson Coors, represented by Peter Coors, was honored as the Golden Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year. This award is presented to a business that has thrived, enhanced the lives of its employees and shown exceptional support to the economic vitality of the Golden, Colo. community. We’re honored to call Golden one of our hometowns, a place that’s given us so much since Adolph Coors first set up shop 151 years ago. Cheers!

  • Forbes has named Sofia Colucci one of the top chief marketing officers around when it released its “Entrepreneurial CMO 50” list this week. The magazine called entrepreneurial chief marketing officers those that only create opportunities for their business, but “(transform) their brands, businesses, and sometimes culture itself" as a result of their work, leadership and approach. Forbes praised Sofia for using proprietary tools to understand the effectiveness of marketing and her ability to tap into culture, as well as how Molson Coors' work has been honored by The Effies, a competition that rewards the most effective marketing campaigns. “Colucci’s marketing demonstrates a consistent entrepreneurial willingness to 'pioneer new approaches balancing the art and science of creative effectiveness, while continuously experimenting with new ways to drive our brands in culture,'” the magazine wrote. Congratulations, Sofia! Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gCKij9k2

  • Molson Coors’ positive off-premise news keeps coming. Thanks to an increase in displays for Coors Light, Miller Lite and Coors Banquet, Molson Coors is now the top gainer for beer displays over the past month. “Plus, what we’re seeing is that display activity for those core brands is actually accelerating,” says Russell Fowler, senior manager of customer solutions. “This gives us momentum going into the peak summer season.” Read more about Molson Coors is finding more ways to accelerate on the blog. https://bit.ly/3Js74Bu
